Bus: ~7–8 hours with multiple transfers, €50–80. Very budget-friendly, but extremely inconvenient with luggage. No direct route. You’ll need to change buses in Genoa or Milan, then take another bus or train to your specific town on Lake Como.
Train: ~6–7 hours with 2–3 transfers, €60–100. Regular service from Monaco to Milan, then change to a regional train to Lake Como. However, Lake Como has multiple stations (Como, Lecco, Varenna, Bellagio requires a ferry). You’ll need to move between platforms with your luggage and then find a taxi to your hotel.
